Georgetown University – School of Continuing Education
The post-baccalaureate certificate offered at Georgetown University remains the only paralegal degree program in Washington DC that has received official approval from the American Bar Association, an important credential in the paralegal field. The flexible course schedule allows students to pursue either a full-time day schedule or a part-time evening schedule, with students beginning the program in either in September or January. Georgetown University also offers a Summer Intensive program in which that course material is concentrated into a 10-week curriculum followed by a 4-week paralegal internship. All of the program schedules include paralegal-specific course material featuring legal research and writing, contract law, trial practice, and legal technology. Students additionally benefit from an outstanding faculty of legal professionals with recent experience in the paralegal field.

George Washington University
George Washington University’s College of Professional Studies offers both a graduate certificate program in Paralegal Studies and a master’s degree program in Paralegal Studies.
